Pump Tracks

Pump Tracks

A Pump track is essentially a rollercoaster path that, if designed properly,
allows the rider or skater to complete the course without any pedalling or drive.

Pump tracks have gained increasing popularity throughout Europe because of their diverse appeal,
safety and ability to present attractively into almost any environment and space.

Whilst they can be constructed of sculptured dirt, the evolution of using asphalt surfaces has seen pump tracks develop as
desirable low maintenance facilities that appeal to bike riders, scooter riders, skateboarders and rollerbladers.

Dirtz has designed all of the largest asphalt pumptracks in Australia. We have designed the first asphalt pump track in an Australian school, although it looks more like a garden We also designed and over saw the build of the amazing Darra Pump track in Brisbane, designed Gladstone Pumptrack, Qld, Designed & constructed Baynton in northern WA, Kangaroo Valley, NSW, Shoalhaven Heads, NSW and the 3000m2+ Super Pumptrack @ Wylde in Western Sydney, plus many more.

Our years in BMX racing saw us naturally fall into building amazing pump tracks. Our methodology is very much different from others... We want a family to go to one of our pumptracks wth a toddler a ten year old and a teen and at the end of their family day out, nobody still wants to leave( ...not even Mum or Dad!!).

 That is a Dirtz pumptrack

Testimonial -  West Kempsey Pumptrack

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Brett, Shaun and the team from Dirtz on delivering the West Kempsey Pump Track.

Their expertise and passion shone through, and they had such a positive and flexible approach. Nothing was too much effort for these guys. Kempsey Shire Council had a tight budget to work with, but that did not stop Dirtz from delivering an amazing track for the community to enjoy.

I was blown away with how quickly the track came together, especially the asphalt surface. Those Dirtz guys can get a lot done in a few days!

Shaun’s work on the construction was absolutely amazing and of a very high quality . His passion is infectious and he takes great pride in his work. An example of this was Shaun committing the time and extra effort to refine some features several times, to make sure everything was perfect. Dirtz were clearly determined that the end result would be as functional and fun as it could possibly be. Shaun even adapted the design along the way to incorporate an extra line of rollers into the track that he felt would positively add to the riding experience and I am so grateful he did.

I have had nothing but positive feedback from community and visitors to the area, including many comments about how it is one of the most fun pump tracks people have been on.

...“It’s more of a pump track/jump park”

...“Like a new generation style track that doesn’t get boring even when you have experience riding it”.

Thank you Dirtz for all your amazing work.
